Acceptance Speech

This speech was drafted for Rotary Club of Koronadal 2018-2019 Induction and Turn over Ceremony. Some of the contents were copied straight from Rotary.org website and no plagiarism intended. Be the inspiration. The 2018-2019 Presidential Theme To Serve Above Our Selves. To Be The Inspiration. To be the agent of positive and sustainable change. More than 110 years ago, a Chicago based lawyer setup a group of professionals with diverse backgrounds so that it could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities. Conducted Seminar to NDMU Students

Last Monday July 30, 2018 I was privileged to conduct a seminar on Utilization of Online Tools for Research. With the advent of technology the channel to conduct surveys changed. Graduating Accountancy and Accounting Technology students of Notre Dame of Marbel University required to have a thesis or feasibility studies. One tool I introduced to them is Google Forms. There are countless of surveying tools online such as Survey Monkey and Lime Survey. However, the most affordable and easy to setup is Google Forms. Thank you Dr. Weny Panganiban for the opportunity and trust! Happy to be back at my school once again.

SKSU Team Building

This was two (2) years ago. I was invited to be the guest speaker for the Sultan Kudarat State University – Political Science Department to be their guest speaker and at the same time conduct a team building activity. Being a Rotaractor and at the same time a Rotarian, I am inclined to share a philosophy of Servant Leadership – the natural feeling to serve first then a conscious brings one to aspire to lead. It sounds well to Rotary International’s timeless motto: Service Above Self. Reminiscing that time keeps you inspired! #teambuilding #inspiration #servantleadership #BeTheInspiration

Speech for Cooperative Founding Anniversary

Desire for change. Eradication of Poverty. Social transformation. Ladies and gentlemen. Distinguished guests. [Insert names to be greeted.] A pleasant morning to all of you. I cannot express how honoured I am to be invited in your founding anniversary. I cannot, even, turn down such request by the change makers of the Philippine society to be their guest speaker. Teaching has been and always will be a profession anyone can be proud of; little things it may be but all those efforts as a teacher is something you should carry as a badge of honour. And of course, I cannot also be more proud to share how all of us should be thankful of your existence. You did not only...

It Will Not Sound Right To Everyone

Your decisions and point of view will not sound right to everyone – as you cannot please everyone. Whenever you feel the need to justify yourself; take a pause and remember that in the end it will always be your journey. Take what sounds right from the heart and keep an open mind. #BeBetter

Aswang: Story of Tiniente Gimo

One popular story in Iloilo was about the story of Tiniente Gimo. The story of Tiniente Gimo or sometimes Tinyente Gimo was popularized on radio dramas.
